A New Group Offering Hope and Support
(suspended until further notice)
Some of the most difficult times in life come when we are facing illness or declining health. We struggle with how to manage our emotions, how to handle the new stresses, and who to turn to for comfort. Oftentimes, we don’t want to burden our loved ones with our struggles, so we suffer alone. No one should ever have to suffer alone! This is the motivation behind this new group.
H.A.S. exists to offer Hope And Support for those facing illness and declining health. Each meeting will offer encouragement, a friendly smile, and a listening ear. H.A.S. meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 10AM, and focuses on sharing our struggles and finding gratitude in the midst of them. Check out our weekly calendar page for any changes to the date of this group.
“This won’t take away our problems and pains. But it can help us live more peacefully in the midst of our struggles,” says group facilitator, Lorna Brittain.
Meetings are at the Coopersville United Methodist Church (105 N 68th Ave, Coopersville).
